Twenty seven new items from the Grimm brothers' private library have been found in the University Library. The works were believed to be lost since the end of the Second World War.  The discovery may help advance research into the work of the authors of the famous collection of fairy tales. The books that have been found in many cases contain notes made by the hand of Jacob and Wilhelm, who often annotated the motifs of interest on the end-sheets of books.

The Society of Automotive Engineers SAE Aero Design West competition, sponsored by Lockheed Martin (manufacturer of the F-16 and F-35 aircraft), ANSYS, Solid Works, and Tesla, among others, took place on 12-14 April 2024 in Los Angeles, USA. The  Academic Aviation Club team of the Poznań University of Technology has participated in the competition since 2008. The representation's participation in the competition was supported by the City of Poznań.
